• Sisense Raises $100M+ in New Funding

Earlier this month, Sisense, the world's leading analytics platform for builders, closed their Series F round of funding, totaling over $100 million. Now valued at over $1 billion, Sisense will devote the funds to increasing market share through product development, sales, and marketing spend. Insight Venture Partners led the round with participation from Access Industries and Bessemer Venture Partners, among others.

'We have enjoyed watching the Sisense momentum in the past 12 months, the traction from its customers as well as from industry-leading analysts for the company's cloud-native platform and new AI capabilities. That, coupled with seeing more traction and success with leading companies in our portfolio and outside, led us to want to continue and grow our relationship with the company and lead this funding round,' said Jeff Horing, Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners.

With promising growth, over $100 million in annual recurring revenue as of 2019, and now over 2,000 customers, Sisense is continuing to demonstrate market success, scale, and traction. Customers such as Expedia, Philips, Tinder, and Nasdaq headline Sisense's growing customer portfolio.

'Given our investments in market-leading companies across diverse industries, we realize the value in analytics and machine learning, and we could not be more excited about Sisense's trajectory and traction in the market,' said Daniel Shinar, who leads Access Industries' investments in Israel. 'Sisense is the clear leading analytics platform for builders and we're excited to be part of their journey for many years to come.'

Right in line with Salesforce's acquisition of Tableau last year, Sisense's continuing momentum reinforces the market need for access to consumable and actionable data-driven insights throughout the enterprise. By leveraging business intelligence products organizations are increasingly looking to analytics to guide their business decision making. Sisense sees 'BI becoming the catalyst for digital transformation in the enterprise,' said Amir Orad, CEO.
